Terms of Use
Effective date: November 6, 2026
1. Agreement
NotForGym (the "App") is published by Hüseyin Emre Gürbüz, an individual developer ("we", "us"). The App is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). These Terms add a few App-specific points. If they conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA prevails. By using the App, you agree to the Apple EULA and these Terms.
2. What the App is
The App is a workout log for iPhone. It records sets, reps, weights, durations, plans and body measurements, and shows your previous values and personal records. It doesn't need an account. Features may change between versions. We describe features that aren't available yet only as "coming soon" and make no promise about when they'll ship.
3. Health and safety
- The App is not a medical device and doesn't give medical, physiotherapy or nutrition advice.
- Exercise guides, estimated one-rep maxes, calorie estimates, scores and sample plans are general information and approximations. They aren't tailored to you.
- Strength training carries a risk of injury. Check with a doctor or qualified professional before you start or change a training program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant.
- Use correct technique, use a spotter or safety equipment for heavy lifts, and stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- You're responsible for how you train. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for injuries or health problems that result from exercise.
4. Ads and the "Remove Ads" purchase
- The App is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads are never shown during an active workout.
- Remove Ads is an optional, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It removes ads from the App on all devices signed in to the same Apple Account. It's not a subscription and doesn't renew.
- Apple processes the payment. The price is shown in the App before you buy and may vary by country and change over time.
- Restore: If you reinstall the App or use a new device, tap Restore purchase in Profile. Restoring requires the same Apple Account you bought with.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves. If Apple refunds the purchase, ads come back.
- If the law where you live gives you a right to withdraw from a digital purchase, it applies as described by Apple. Because the content is unlocked right away, that right may end once the purchase is delivered, as permitted by law.
5. Your data and content
- Everything you enter (workouts, notes, plans, custom exercises, measurements) is yours. We don't receive it and don't need a license to it.
- Your data is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your private iCloud. Keep your own backups too, for example with CSV export. We aren't responsible for data loss caused by device failure, iCloud problems, deleted data or uninstalling the App.
- If you share files such as plan CSVs with others, you're responsible for their content. Don't share anything you don't have the right to share.
- How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the App except where the law allows it. Don't interfere with ads, purchases or the App's normal operation, and don't use the App for anything unlawful.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, name, exercise guides and other content belong to us or our licensors. Apple, iPhone, iCloud, Apple Health and the App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google and AdMob are trademarks of Google LLC.
8. Availability
We try to keep the App working, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free, or that it will work with every iOS version or device. We may update, change or stop offering the App or any feature. If we stop offering the App, we'll try to give notice in the App or on our website so you can export your data.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". The Apple EULA's warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability apply. In addition, to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App and in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date and mention important changes in the App's release notes. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the App and delete it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts or consumer bodies available to you there.
